SECRETLY DIETING

I have not discussed my latest diet craze. I wanted it to be for real before I started bragging and giving advice. For the last 8 to 10 weeks I have been on Atkins and I haven’t cheated once.

If you are not familiar with Atkins, it is a low-carb high-protein diet. If you stick to it you can eat enough to satisfy , but boy do you miss the carbs.

.I have lost 37 pounds and I will crack the 400 pound barrier in the next week. It will be the first time I am under 400 pounds since 2003.

My true secret is not leaving the house except when I absolutely have to. I’ve hired my son Troy part-time to do all the things that I would normally have to do. The most exciting thing about the diet is that it actually works, and by staying out of restaurants not only helps me stay on the diet, but the money I save is amazing.

I will now start having weigh ins and reporting on my food diet section.
