Ode to Fatso

Anyone who has been fat

certainly knows that fats not where its at

Especially someone who has had the experience of beauty

knows that eating is not ones duty

So what makes  we, the larger of the species,  indulge to a point of no return

Its the steaks, chops, fries galore

that makes each and everyone of us a gouging  whore

The banana splits, the layer cakes, the coconut cream pies

They all taste so good, so    we look in the mirror and tell ourselves lies

You look okay, you look just fine, you look just Dandy

Then you open the freezer and take out the chocolate candy

But this time it will be different, it will be swell

We will come out for round number 499 when we hear the bell

when we swear it will be different,   oh  do tell

Now I am saying with all my heart and conviction

I will lose the weight this time or it will be my  crucifiction

Ain’t it the truth??
